The after entry widget area is an optional widget area for Genesis themes, which displays after your blog entries. You can use it for a newsletter signup form, a list of related posts or advertisements.
If your Genesis theme does not already support the after entry widget area, you can add it with the below code (here’s how).
Delete this line to remove the after entry widget area from your site altogether.
Then, to add content to your widget area, you go to Appearance > Widgets in your admin area. The widget area will be labeled After Entry and you can drag widgets to it.

The function responsible for outputting the after entry widget area,
genesis_after_entry_widget_area, is hooked to
genesis_after_entry. This means that it outputs after the close of the
<article class="entry"> (HTML5) markup element.
genesis_after_entry is an HTML5 hook, the after entry widget area is not available to the older XHTML Genesis themes.
Note that the after entry widget area only outputs for single Posts, but not other post types or in archives.
