By default, Genesis displays the date that each comment was submitted. If you don’t want this on your site, it’s very easy to remove.
The code you’ll need to install onto your Genesis site (here’s how) is below.
Post Type Discrimination
With a more robust piece of code, Genesis lets you withhold the comment dates only on some post types. For example, if you’d like to display comment dates on Posts but withhold them on Pages, the code below will work for you.
genesis_show_comment_date is only available to the newer HTML5 Genesis themes. If your site is running on an older XHTML Genesis theme, you’re out of luck.
Be aware that search engines like Google do create timestamps like the one below from comment dates as well as Post/Page dates. If you don’t want your content timestamped in search results, you may need to remove comment dates from your site.
genesis_show_comment_date has been included since version 2.2.0.
genesis_show_comment_date is located in lib/structure/comments.php.
